Mombasa
General Information
Mombasa is located on the Coast of Kenya and is its second largest city. Mombasa holds Kenya's most important port and is home to an international airport which is constantly busy with tourists. The town is situated on a small offshore island which is linked to the mainland by bridges and the Likoni Ferry. The town survives mostly on tourism centred on beach holiday makers.
Although a chaotic place Mombasa lacks the high-rise buildings of Nairobi, and instead offers wide roads and exotic beaches.
