North Eastern

The North Eastern region of Kenya is a remote area with Garissa being its capital.  

The North Eastern area has a hot, dry semi-arid desert climate.  There are no major rivers in this region apart from a few tributaries feeding the few giraffe and gazelle that are found here.   A rare type of antelope named Hirola also roam the North Eastern region.

The inhabitants are mostly Somalis.
